R.L. FEHSEKE (1918-1985) Graduated with highest distinction from the University of Iowa Law School in 1942. He was Phi Beta Kappa, a member of the Order of the Coif, and Editor-in-Chief of the Iowa Law Review, a nationally-recognized law school publication analyzing legal issues and current developments in the law. After spending two years as a special agent in the FBI, he returned to Fort Madison to begin his legal career. He and his wife, Margaret, have three children, Linda Thompson, a real estate secretary; R.L. Fehseke, Jr., now a partner in the firm; and Scott Fehseke, an engineer. |

R.L. (DICK) FEHSEKE, JR Received his undergraduate and
graduate education from the University of Iowa. He earned his Juris
Doctorate degree in 1968 with High Distinction. He was Phi Beta
Kappa, Order of the Coif, and Managing Editor of the Iowa Bar
Review. He is a member of the Lee County and Iowa State Bar
Associations; Iowa Association for Justice; and the Iowa Academy of
Trial Lawyers (limited to 250 attorneys in the state of Iowa out of
over 8000 practicing attorneys). Dick's two children, Richard L. Fehseke III
and Elaine Fehseke Eschman, are partners in Fehseke & Eschman Law Offices.
His wife Lynn is a retired school teacher. |

RICHARD L. FEHSEKE III Graduated from Vanderbilt
University, Cum Laude. He earned his Juris Doctorate with High
Distinction from the University of Iowa Law School in 1994. He also
was a member of the Iowa Law Review. Richard is licensed to practice
in Iowa and Illinois and is a member of the Lee County, Iowa State,
and State of Illinois Bar Associations, the Iowa Association for Justice,
and Iowa's District 8B Judicial Nominating Commission. Richard and
his wife Kim have two children. |

ELAINE FEHSEKE ESCHMAN Graduated from Vanderbilt
University, Magna Cum Laude. She received her Juris Doctorate from
McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, California, with Distinction.
Elaine was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Traynor Honor
Society at McGeorge. She is licensed to practice law in Iowa and
California and is a member of Lee County, Iowa State, California State
and American Bar Associations; the American Association for Justice;
and is a Vice-President of the Iowa Association for Justice. She currently
serves as President of the North Lee County Bar Association. Elaine was
chosen as Fort Madison's 2005 Citizen of the Year for her work in the
community. She has two children.

In addition to their practices, the members of the firm devote many hours each week to volunteer work and civic activities. Each is fortunate to have received the benefits of good health, strong family, and good friends, as well as the support of their community, state, and country.
